Yippee the day finally arrived. What a beautiful day on Saturday to play netball. Great to see everyone enjoying themselves after all the preparation.
A big thank you to all those people who volunteered their time to ensure it was a very well organised day for Rangers. Thank you to the Uniform Ladies who manned the tent for most of the day, this is a big effort and much appreciated. They even had to put the tent up (with some help, thanks John). Thank you Rangers 3 parents (thanks Mick) for packing up.
Also, thanks to Sharon Serow, our able Umpiring Convenor and her merry band of umpires. It was the first day of a new system for umpiring and it went very smoothly. ‘Can’t have a game without an umpire!’
Well done to all the coaches, players and spectators for a great start to the season – especially those that may have been a bit sore today! Special mention to: Rangers 16 (11Yrs div 3) – they were the first game of the day; in their first competitive game; with their first win!
If you want to see the draw and results, they are now on the WDNA website immediately. Congratulations to Wests for getting this information so quickly to us this season. Here is the link www. western.netball.asn.au/competitions.asp. This link is also on the right side of our website under Links.
