Trials for WDNA Senior Teams will be held on Sunday, February 4th, Sport and Recreation Centre, Centenary State High School. (times to be advised)
Registrations will be open from Wednesday 13th December 2017 for players wanting to represent WDNA in Netball Qld’s senior competitions as follows:
* Queensland Premier League (QPL)
(16U (born 2002 2003), 18U, Open Women, Open Men) WDNA will be investigating the possibility of entering 2 teams into the 16U competition. 16 div 1 will be entered in Zone 6 (South East Qld) of the competition which plays each Friday night. 16 div 2 would be entered in another Zone (to be determined). The games may be played at cluster weekends.
* Nissan Queensland Cup
(Mixed, Masters, Mens and Womens Teams) You must be turning 18 in 2018 to play at this Carnival.
* Nissan State Age Championships
15 Years State Age Team. You must be turning 15yrs in 2018. WDNA will be entering 2 teams into this age group at the Championships. Please note that 15yrs olds may also trial for the QPL U16 team as well.
Get Started Voucher: Due to high demand, Round 9 will open for voucher applications at 9:15am, 24 February 2017 that is tomorrow. If you hold a Health Care Card your are eligible for $150 from the Old Government to help you get started. Check out their website for more details. Get Started Voucher
WDNA 2017 Premier League Rep Teams: (Registrations close today) will be held at the Centenary State High School, Moolanda St, Jindalee in the Sports and Recreation Centre (SRC)
- Wear – white shirt/singlet and black bottom and appropriate footwear.
- Bring – water bottle, sweat towel, suitable snack for recovery
- Date: Sunday 26th February
- Age: born 2002 (minimum)
- Register: 1:30pm
- Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Nominations for the WDNA rep trials are now open on our website: WDNA REP TRIAL NOMINATION FORM Trials will be held at Centenary State High School on 25th and 26th February (timetable for each age group is on the WDNA website).
The website provides information for players wishing to nominate in the Queensland Premier League (previously SEQ competition) and is open to players aged 15+ to Opens and includes Mens.
Those players in the U12-U15 age groups who were successful in the Phase 1 trials last year will also need to confirm their nomination for the upcoming Rep trials.
The Junior Phase 1 WDNA Representative Trials is as follows:

The venue advised that no external catering is allowed inside the premises. There will be a fully operational canteen available all day to all attendees.

The highly anticipates 2016 Development Program registration process is now open – with our Lillian Eruera as Co-ordinator.
The following players have been Talent Identified through Netball Queensland to attend an “Emerging Players Camp” at the end of September. From there a squad of 20 will be selected to commence training in January 2017 with the Queensland teams selected prior to the National Netball Champs in April 2017.

The bus is leaving from Wests for the Country Carnival at the Tweed Netball Association. Good luck to Rangers girls Gabby Mansfield, Amy Pruyn, Jemila McKinnon who are representing the Association in 2 days of netball.
Congratulations to our fabulous Rebekah Rounds who was named MVP at the School Girls Netball State Championships in Cairns last weekend.
She was also chosen to represent Qld in the U19s team at the National Championships.
