What a fantastic effort by all Rangers players this season! And how fabulous that we have 8 teams in Grand Finals this weekend. Please come down and support our Rangers players and coaches on Saturday. We’ll have green and yellow zinc and ribbons at the Rangers tent, so you can kit yourself out in Rangers colours! We hope to see you there.
Rangers, come on down to the netball courts this weekend and cheer on our Rangers teams who are in semi or preliminary finals on Saturday.
Forest Lake 6
There will be green and yellow zinc and ribbons at our tent in the morning so you can fully show your Rangers colours. The netball will be great to watch and our teams will really appreciate your support.
The Club President, Toni Vowles, has submitted her resignation for personal reasons, and it is with regret, that the Rangers Committee has accepted her resignation. Rangers Netball Club would like to acknowledge the tireless effort and dedication of Toni and thank her for her incredible commitment in running the netball club for the past two seasons.
There is a huge amount of behind the scenes work that goes into running a netball club the size of Rangers, and the personal investment and contribution Toni has made to the club is inspiring. Toni will continue to be involved with Rangers, so please say a big thank you when you see her around the grounds at training or at the games on Saturday!
The Committee has decided to leave the position of President vacant until the AGM in September. The Management Committee of Richard Luke, Keiran Gilmore, Talya Domic and Leith Sutherland will work together to fill the position in the interim. We can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org or see the website for the phone numbers of individual Committee members.
It only happens twice each season, so take your chance this Saturday and snap loads of photos of your team playing on court. Email your photos to the club (email@example.com), post them to social media and tag us @rangersnetballclub.

What a great 3 days we had! 🙌🏻 Thanks girls for turning up every day with a great attitude... despite a few sore muscles and sore hands! Be proud of your efforts!💪🏼
And yes - weren’t Tara, Rudi and Tippah from the Queensland Firebirds just awesome?! 😆🙌🏻🥰
They had some really great advice for the girls about:
- training and recovery
- the importance of strength training (and the advantages of starting young)
- encouraging girls to play lots of different sports (and specialising later)
- the importance of exercise to manage stress, emotions, and how movement always makes you feel better
- how nutrition and eating properly is so important to their training.
Thanks everybody for a fantastic 3 days and to Tracey Bruce for teaching the girls some great skills they can apply on the court when games start back!
