Photo Day

It only happens twice each season, so take your chance this Saturday and snap loads of photos of your team playing on court. Email your photos to the club (, post them to social media and tag us @rangersnetballclub.

First Game starts 17th March




It is your last chance to watch our girls play in 2017 with Grand Final day tomorrow.  Come down and support the teams.  Here is the timetable,  bring your pom poms!

  • 9.45am Crt 3 – Rangers 14 – Danelle’s Determined Dynamos
  • 11.15am Crt 7 – Rangers 9 – Mal’s Mighty Machines
  • 12.30pm Crt 3 – Rangers 5 – Toni’s Talented Team


Last game tomorrow for the Non-competitive teams.  There will be a small presentation after each round – so please head up to the Club house after your game.  Hope everyone has had a fun season – don’t forget our End of Season Celebration (details below).

Good luck to competitive teams who have one more fixture.  We have four teams who have Semi Finals tomorrow so why not dust off the pom poms and come and help cheer our girls on.  Details are:

  • Rangers 10 – Cat Waye’s 13 Years Div 3 at 11.15 on Court 13
  • Rangers 14 – Danelle Spasojevic’s 11 Years Div 2 at 9.05 on Court 11
  • Rangers 15 – Alex Morgan’s 11 Years div 3 at 9.05 on Court 14

Basic Umpiring:  Sorry for the late notice but for those girls interested in Umpiring this year THERE IS A BASIC UMPIRING COURSE THIS SATURDAY, if you are able to attend please email the club ASAP?

Rosters for this Saturday:  Rangers is on Netta court Pack Up – this involves collecting goal rings, post pads, rubbish bins, equipment from netta courts.

Photos:  Photo money ($15 should be returned next Wednesday 31 May.  Please ensure money is clearly labelled with the team number and players name.

Training Shirts:  Still available for sale from our on-line uniform shop.  Limited sizes available so get in quick.


It is all happening this Saturday 20 May 2017.  It is……

UMPIRE APPRECIATION DAY:  After every game all Rangers’ teams thank the umpires as we thank the other team for being part of the game.  BUT, this Saturday please take the time for an extra big thanks!

Why become an Umpire?  Umpiring gives the opportunity for everyone to play in a safe, fair and enjoyable environment.  It helps develop those skills that can be used in life – communication, resilience and leadership.  Contact Emily Turner if you would like to become part of Rangers Team White.


WDNA PHOTO DAY:  Usually permission is needed to take photos of your daughter/Club team at netball.  This Saturday you are able to take as many photos as you like.


TRAINING SHIRTS:  Still available for sale through the uniform shop Uniform Shop  Thanks to our Sponsors, AUSFIRST Lending Group, and SNAP Fitness-24-7 Sherwood for helping us to sell them at the great price of $15!!

Team Photos:  Remember to wear your uniform to training.  Attached is an updated schedule for times for photos  Team Photo Schedule

Training Shirt:  Yippee!  Shirts have arrived – all paid orders will only be available at training.

Wet Weather:  With the recent wet weather, it is timely reminder that the Club will make a call for training at approximately 4pm and post it to the website and Facebook.  Training is on unless otherwise notified.

Parking:  Wests have sent a reminder that it is illegal to park in a drop off zone or across a yellow line. There has been too many complaint regarding people parking in these areas when they are clearly marked. The council will now be notified of any car parked illegally and fines will be issued.  Also no one is to park in the WDNA car park on a Saturday other than committee and life members.


The wait is over – we finally get to play some netty tomorrow.

  • The fixtures with courts numbers etc can be found on WDNA website:   WDNA Fixtures
    Updated team list with team numbers can be found on the website under ‘Player Information’
  • Umpires – remember to sign off at the umpire table at the WDNA club house and wear the correct attire.
  • Rangers Tent will be up – it is a great place to meet.  Those who are a bit late with their uniforms can collect them there.
  • Be courteous to our neighbours when parking.  The parking inspectors will be out on Saturday.
