What a great 3 days we had! 🙌🏻 Thanks girls for turning up every day with a great attitude... despite a few sore muscles and sore hands! Be proud of your efforts!💪🏼
And yes - weren’t Tara, Rudi and Tippah from the Queensland Firebirds just awesome?! 😆🙌🏻🥰
They had some really great advice for the girls about:
- training and recovery
- the importance of strength training (and the advantages of starting young)
- encouraging girls to play lots of different sports (and specialising later)
- the importance of exercise to manage stress, emotions, and how movement always makes you feel better
- how nutrition and eating properly is so important to their training.
Thanks everybody for a fantastic 3 days and to Tracey Bruce for teaching the girls some great skills they can apply on the court when games start back!
