Rangers will be providing a free sausage sizzle with drinks and cake for all of our players. The BBQ will run between 5pm and 7pm. We will also be presenting some very special awards.
Our training times will stay the same with a few small adjustments:
All players who train from 4 – 5pm: No change to training time. Have your sausage sizzle from 5pm!
All players who train from 5.10pm – 6.10pm: Awards will begin at 6pm, finishing at 6.20pm. Then eat!
All players who train from 6.20pm – 7.20pm: Arrive early and eat first. Awards from 6pm.
All players who train from 7.30pm – 8.30pm: Eat before 7pm, awards at 7.25pm.
Girls will be encouraged to stay with their teams and coaches until they are picked up. Unfortunately our guidelines must stay the same and we ask that parents do not attend. Girls will continue to follow our COVID protocols and these will also be adhered to with relation to the serving of food.
Looking forward to a fun evening on Wednesday night!
We encourage all players to embrace the opportunity of playing with the team that they have been placed in, and in making new friends. We greatly appreciate the support of parents in ensuring that the team settles into an enjoyable netball season.
Queries in relation to team placement should be made in writing to email@example.com within 5 days of notification of team placement.
We are looking forward to a fantastic 2020 Netball season.

What a great 3 days we had! 🙌🏻 Thanks girls for turning up every day with a great attitude... despite a few sore muscles and sore hands! Be proud of your efforts!💪🏼
And yes - weren’t Tara, Rudi and Tippah from the Queensland Firebirds just awesome?! 😆🙌🏻🥰
They had some really great advice for the girls about:
- training and recovery
- the importance of strength training (and the advantages of starting young)
- encouraging girls to play lots of different sports (and specialising later)
- the importance of exercise to manage stress, emotions, and how movement always makes you feel better
- how nutrition and eating properly is so important to their training.
Thanks everybody for a fantastic 3 days and to Tracey Bruce for teaching the girls some great skills they can apply on the court when games start back!
